CAMPAIGN CONTENT

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We were brought back to work with Taranaki Rescue Helicopter on a new campaign, creating a series of hero images for a new billboards across the region. Alongside the photography, we were also tasked with creating video content for Meta ads focused on driving donations, as well as capturing headshots for the team.
With limited time available with the aircraft, we had to make every minute count. We travelled to a location on the mountain where we were dropped off, allowing the aircraft to fly around us while we captured shots from the ground. With direct communication to the pilot via walkie-talkie, we coordinated positioning and flight paths while the crew carried out winching operations.
Just as we thought we were finished, we spotted a completely new opportunity on the flight back - a stretch of riverbed with the mountain running directly behind it. The location created the perfect composition for one final image. That shot became one of the hero images from the campaign and now sits on one of the billboards around the region. This shoot ended up being one of our favourites to date, producing some of the best images we’ve ever captured.
